What is Hypnotherapy?

Let’s talk about Hypnosis first. Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation. Another way to think about is imagining if you have been walking through a forest, and suddenly you get to the end of the path you were walking on. You don’t have any idea where the time went and how fast your walk seemed.

This is what we call a natural entrancing state when you are in this state of mind, you are not totally aware of the things around you and become more open to suggestions through Hypnosis.

Hypnotherapy is not in any way harmful, but it is totally normal to be nervous about having your first treatment.

Can a Hypnotherapist make me do something that is embarrassing?

A Hypnotherapist cannot make you do anything against your wishes. It is important to remember that you are in control all the time. It is your choice to enter a hypnotic state, and you can always leave it at any point which you choose.
